When you write you leave little bits of yourself on the page. Try as hard as you might, but this can’t be stopped.
Out of all of that I guess the question is, is it necessary? Is it necessary to put myself though everything involved in getting a degree at this age, or in fact at all?
It’s been a few months since I’ve started this site. I started it with absolutely no knowledge of how to do so. It hasn’t been all too easy for me, since I’m not exactly technically or digitally inclined, and I kind of jumped in with both feet. To be honest my site went live accidentally.
Why do you blog? What drove you to start? Are you still following that goal?
I only ask because I seem to have lost sight of mine. Once I started researching blogging, and monetizing blogs, I started concentrating on that too deeply. It’s so easy to do. You start thinking about all of the money you can make selling other people’s products, and you forget that you have your own.
I don’t know what I expected. I really don’t. Well, I guess I kind of do. I thought I would be pumping out blog posts between chapters of my book, and submissions to short story contests. I thought nonprofits would be beating down my door for my copywriting services, and my humor and wisdom would have garnered me a large loyal following. Most of all, I thought that words would be falling from my head faster than any two people could type them.
